The 6th and 8th session of IPS webinar series ‘#Covid19: Global Challenges, National Response’, titled ‘Threats and Opportunities for the Downside Persons and Nations’ were held at IPS on April 23 and 28, 2020 respectively. Spread across two sessions, the talk was delivered by Dr Ijaz Shafi Gilani, Chairman, Gallup Pakistan, as the main speaker whereas the session was jointly chaired by former secretary finance and member, IPS National Academic Council Dr Waqar Masood Khan and Executive President IPS Khalid Rahman, Sr. security analyst Brig. (r) Said Nazir, Ambassador (r) Tajammul Altaf, a senior research associate at IPS, and Mirza Hamid Hasan, former secretary, Water and Power and member IPS National Academic Council, also participated in the session as discussants.
